In June 2018, Blaenau Gwent Public Services Board (PSB) launched its Well-being Plan; “The Blaenau Gwent We Want 2018-2023” at South Wales’ biggest biodiversity event
Each local authority and health board are required to prepare and publish a plan setting out the range and level of services they propose to provide, or arrange to be provided, in response to the population needs assessment. Area plans must include the specific services planned in response to each core theme identified in the population assessment.
In July 2017 over sixty organisations and projects in Blaenau Gwent came together to help shape the indicative priorities for future well-being in the area. The workshop allowed the Blaenau Gwent Public Services Board to get a better of understanding participant views, knowledge and experience of the ‘indicative priorities’ that have been developed so far.
We want you to help us make Blaenau Gwent a better place for future generations. Between now and 14th September 2017 we are asking local people to look at our initial priorities for improving the area and tell us what they think needs to be done to make them happen.
