    The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) provides support to the Commissioner in carrying out his duties and responsibilities. There are currently 14 officers. Led by the Chief of Staff, they provide a wide range of support and advice to the Commissioner in areas such as meetings and engagement, equality and diversity, and performance, ensuring that the Commissioner is fully up-to-date and briefed on any policy changes at either a local, regional or national level.

    Tai Calon Community Housing was launched on 26 July, 2010, and is the largest social landlord in Blaenau Gwent. It was created after tenants of Blaenau Gwent council voted in favour of their homes being transferred to Tai Calon. Tai Calon are a “not for profit” organisation and a community mutual, which means, as the name suggests, tenants are at the heart of everything they do.
